Claim Handling

In-House Claim Handling That Keeps Every File Moving

Unlike many estimating services, 1st Property LLC offers in-house billing and claim-handling support for our clients. Our account managers assist with follow-up on your behalf by communicating directly with insurance carriers regarding payment status, claim updates, and any requested revisions.

We take the proper steps to confirm that the carrier has received the scope and invoice, followed by direct phone calls and email communication with the carrier or adjuster to help move the claim forward. Throughout the process, we maintain and track the invoice through our management software, allowing you to stay informed with up-to-date claim status information.

Our services include ongoing communication with adjusters, confirmation of payment status, revision requests when needed, and continued follow-up to help expedite the claim process. This allows contractors and restoration companies to focus on completing quality work while we assist with the billing and claim follow-up process.

Every loss is different, so each scope is prepared around the specific property conditions and documented repair requirements. We do not rely on generic templates that overlook important project details.

Whether your team needs a preliminary scope before work begins, documentation for an active project, or a final scope for invoicing, we help present the work in a format that is clear, complete, and easier to review. Our goal is to connect what happened at the jobsite with what appears in the claim file.

Benefits of Our Claim Handling Service

Our scope preparation services can support water mitigation, fire damage, mold remediation, abatement, contents, reconstruction, exterior damage, and CAT or storm-related losses. Your assigned account manager will help collect the required documentation, coordinate questions, track progress, and manage revision requests throughout the project.
